UK’s Strongest Man, Laurence Shahlaei, will be demonstrating his power at the East of England’s biggest energy event next month.
The current titleholder, also Europe’s Strongest Man 2016, twice Britain’s Strongest Man, a nine-times World Strongest Man competitor and Guinness World Record Holder, will be at the Norfolk Showground on Wednesday and Thursday (May 16 and 17). UK’s Strongest Man Laurence Shahlaei will appear alongside Great Yarmouth-based Gee-Force Hydraulics on its stand at the East of England Energy Group’s (EEEGR) SNS2018 conference and exhibition.
The 6ft 2in force, who weighs nearly 24 stone, has been the company’s strongest supporter at events for four years. Graeme Cook, bolting expert Gee-Force Hydraulics Managing Director, said,
“Laurence brings fun and fascination to the SNS exhibition. He wins his titles by pulling cars and carrying boulders so he’s always a real crowd puller. Laurence, as the UK’s Strongest Man, fits perfectly with our Made in the UK equipment. The company is now focusing on UK-manufactured equipment to improve further its hire and sale service to customers. It has expanded its range to exclusively UK-manufactured wrenches and tools at a time when the offshore wind industry is demanding greater UK content.”
The company, which became part of the HTL Group earlier this month, enjoyed its busiest year last year and is always looking to supply a faster service to its off and onshore clients. Moving to UK-manufactured equipment means faster delivery time scales, better back-up and better access to the technical teams behind all our products. Offering customers a bigger range, including bolting software, lubricants and oils. Hire has been incredibly busy this year, working with existing clients, who are getting busier offshore.”
As well as its large base at Beacon Park, Gorleston, Gee-Force has access to a travelling exhibition of solely UK-made equipment.
“We can take the Expo Van with the full range of tools and accessories to any customer or potential customer.”
